കോഴിക്കോട്, തിരുത്തിയാട്, അരേടത്ത്കണ്ടി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ തിറ ഉത്സവം, മീനമാസത്തിൽ (മാർച്ച്-ഏപ്രിൽ) നടക്കുന്ന വാർഷിക ദ്വിദിന ഉത്സവമാണ്, ഊർജ്ജസ്വലമായ തിറ പ്രകടനങ്ങളും പരമ്പരാഗത ആചാരങ്ങളും ഭക്തിനിർഭരമായ ആഘോഷങ്ങളും ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു.

Aredathkani temple is one of the oldest temples in Kozhikode town with more than 2000 years old history. This temple is owned by an ancestral family.
Annual festival of this temple falls in the Malayalam month of Meenom.

The festival in this temple is a 2 days event. The temple and premises are beautifully decorated. There are special poojas and offering on the festival days. Ten varieties of ritualistic vellattu takes place during this festival, they are Karuvan, kariyathan, Villi, pookkutti, karimkutty, Kuttychathan, guru, nagakali,gulikan and Bhagavathy. After vellattu(a form of theyyam,not actual one) thalapoli procession takes place. Thalapoli is ritualistic procession of women and girls holding thalams filled with flowers and a lightened lamp in their hands. After Thalapoli. thira actual theyyam starts which last till next day morning. Eight varieties of theyyam are performed in this festival such as Kuttichathannagakali, Pookkutti, karimkutty, karuvan, bhagavathy gulikan and Kariyathan.
