കോഴിക്കോട്, താഴത്തുംകാവ് ശ്രീ ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ തിറ താലപ്പൊലി ഉത്സവം, പരമ്പരാഗത തിറ പ്രകടനങ്ങൾ, താലപ്പൊലി ഘോഷയാത്രകൾ, ചടുലമായ ക്ഷേത്രാചാരങ്ങൾ എന്നിവ ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുന്ന വാർഷിക മൂന്ന് ദിവസത്തെ ആഘോഷമാണ് മീനം (മാർച്ച്-ഏപ്രിൽ).

This temple has about 1800 years old history. It is believed that Goddesses here is the sister of the Azhakodi Devi. Both temples are constructed in such a way that both devis are facing each other.Annual festival of this temple falls in the Malayalam month of Meenom, it is a three days spectacular event.

There
are special poojas and offering. Ritualistic Vellattu art form
(a form of theyyam not actual one) takes place on the first
day. On the second day annadanam is given to all devotees
and after that from afternoon onwards Vellattu takes place
till night. By around 9'o clock night thalapoli procession
starts from azhakodi devi temple to here. It is a very
beautiful event. Once thalapoli procession reaches this
temple, actual theyyam starts and it lasts till 3rd day morning.
Different varieties of Vellattu and theyyam are performed
during this festive period. Festival ends by "guruthi ritual
performed in the morning.
