കോഴിക്കോട് കല്ലിങ്കൽ ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ തിറ താലപ്പൊലി മഹോൽസവം മാർച്ച്-ഏപ്രിൽ മാസങ്ങളിൽ നടക്കുന്ന ത്രിദിന മഹത്തായ ഉത്സവമാണ്, ഊർജ്ജസ്വലമായ തിറ പ്രകടനങ്ങൾ, പരമ്പരാഗത ആചാരങ്ങൾ, ഭക്തിനിർഭരമായ ഘോഷയാത്രകൾ എന്നിവ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു.

This temple has more than 500 years old history. It is believed that this temple was existed during the padayottam period of Tippu. Kallingal Bhagavathy is the main deity. Karivan, Karivilli, Nagarajavu, Nagakanyaka and Nagayakshi are the sub deities.Festivals starts by flag hosting ceremony.
There are special
poojas and rituals on the festival days. Spiritual discourses
and seminars are held there.
Thira Thalapoli Maholsavam 2025 | Kallingal Bhagavathy Temple Kozhikode
On the second day of the
festival, Pongola ceremony takes place. After that, ritualistic
Vellattu (a form of theyyam not actual one) takes place
through out the day. In the evening thalapoli takes place,
thalapoli is a ritualistic procession of women and young girls
holding thalams in their hand filled with rice, flowers and a
lighted Lamp. After thalapoli on the 3rd day, Thira(Theyyam)
takes place. It is also a continues process which dates for
whole day. And on the 4th day morning thira ends which
marks due end of the festival. After that temple will be
closed for continues 6 days and on 7th day evening temple
opens as usual Fire works which is also a major attraction of the festival.
