Mahotsavam at Annasseri Sree Manthanath Nagakali Temple, Kozhikode is a vibrant celebration of devotion, culture and community spirit drawing devotees and visitors from across Kerala and beyond. The festival is dedicated to the worship of Nagakali, a powerful deity revered for protection, prosperity and the well being of the community.

The festival begins with sacred rituals and Kodiyettam symbolizing the commencement of the spiritual celebrations. Throughout the Mahotsavam, devotees witness Vellattams, Thalappoli and Thirakettiaattam which are spectacular processions and ritualistic performances honoring the goddess. These are accompanied by rhythmic drum beats, traditional chants and ceremonial music creating an atmosphere of divine energy and cultural grandeur.
One of the highlights of the festival is the community Annadanam where food is served to hundreds of devotees as an offering and act of charity.
