The consecration day festival at Avilthodi Sree Hanuman Kavu will be conducted with great devotion and traditional rituals under the chief priesthood of Sree Areekkara Illam Damodaran Namboothiripad.
Devotees and well-wishers are cordially invited to grace the occasion with their esteemed presence. The rituals will begin in the morning at 11:00 AM with Naga Pooja and Kavu Unyaha Karmam, followed by the special Noorum Paalum offering. This particular ritual has been pre-booked in the names of Adithya and Amith. Annadanam will be served at 12:45 PM, ensuring that all devotees are offered prasadam as part of the sacred observance. In the evening, Hanuman Swamy Pooja, along with Kiratha Moorthy Pooja, Kali Pooja, and Brahmarakshas Pooja, will be performed starting at 6:00 PM. Light refreshments will be served at 6:45 PM. A special felicitation ceremony for distinguished guests will be held at 8:00 PM. Devotees may book Kiratha Moorthy Pooja at a fee of ₹100. Those participating in the Kiratha Moorthy Ilaneer Abhishekam are requested to bring tender coconuts for the ritual.
