It is dedicated to Vairighataka Bhagavati, a form of Shiva Parvati, and Shakteya Bhagavati, the family deity. The temple also venerates Kuttichathan, Asuraputra, and Gulikan deities, reflecting diverse local beliefs.
Thira Mahotsavam, held annually in the month of Kumbham, is a major worship event. The temple is maintained by mana tantris of Kattu Matam who perform annual rituals to invoke blessings upon the deity.

Thira Maholsavam
