Annual Festival
The annual festival at Valayanad Devi Temple begins on the day of Karthika in the month of Makaram and lasts for seven days. The deity's procession ('Uthsavam') starts at Tali Mahadeva Temple and then proceeds to Valayanad Temple. The highlight of the festival is the holy dipping of the idol ('Arat') in Trissaala Kulam in Mankavu after the 'Pallivetta' ceremony.
Kalamezhuthupattu Festival
Kalamezhuthupattu is a significant festival observed at Valayanad Devi Temple, starting from the 1st of Vrichikam and continuing for 41 days during the Mandala season. This festival involves intricate and colorful floor paintings ('Kalams') made from natural pigments.
