Prathishta Dinam

Navaratri
During Navaratri at Thiruvani Bhagavathi Temple in Kannookara, Kozhikode, a series of elaborate poojas and rituals are conducted to honor various forms of the divine feminine. The celebrations include Lakshmi Pooja, dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi for prosperity and wealth; Durga Pooja, honoring Goddess Durga for strength and protection; and Saraswathi Pooja, worshipping Goddess Saraswathi for wisdom and knowledge. Vidyarambham, marking the initiation of young children into the world of letters, is also performed with great devotion.
