Annual Festival

The annual festival at Elamaran Kulangara Bhagavathi Temple concludes with the arattu on Makayiram nakshatra day in Kumbha Masam. The festivities include a grand ezhunellippu procession, where the deity is carried in a decorated chariot accompanied by traditional music and dance performances such as Poothan and Thira. Various temple rituals, including special poojas, offerings, and homams, are conducted, creating a vibrant and spiritually enriching atmosphere for the devotees.

Navaratri

Navaratri at Elamaran Kulangara Bhagavathi Temple in Ambala Nada, Perambra, Kozhikode, is celebrated with great devotion and various special rituals. Vidyarambham, the initiation of children into learning, is conducted on Vijayadashami, marking the end of the festival, where young children are introduced to the world of letters under the blessings of Goddess Bhagavathi.
