2026ലെ തിരുവുത്സവം കൊണ്ടൂർ ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണസ്വാമി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ ഏപ്രിൽ 5 മുതൽ ഏപ്രിൽ 12 വരെ ആഘോഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു, കൊടിയേറ്റ്, ഉത്സവബലി, പള്ളിവേട്ട, ആറാട്ട് എന്നിവ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു.

Thiruvutsavam is the most celebrated festival at Kondoor Sri Krishna Swamy Temple attracting devotees and visitors from across Kerala and beyond. This vibrant festival is a spectacular blend of religious devotion, traditional rituals and cultural performances making it one of the most important events in the temple’s annual calendar.
The temple dedicated to Lord Krishna comes alive with the sounds of conch shells, temple bells and devotional music creating an atmosphere of spiritual fervor and celebration.
The festival begins with the ceremonial flag hoisting signaling the start of the festivities and inviting devotees to participate in the sacred celebrations. Throughout the festival, a series of special poojas and offerings are conducted including the Utsava Bali which is a symbolic offering to the deity seeking blessings for prosperity, peace and well being.
Another highlight is the Pallivetta, or divine hunt ritual, which is performed with great devotion and enthusiasm symbolizing the victory of good over evil. The festival concludes with the Aarattu, a grand ritual involving the ceremonial bathing of the deity accompanied by traditional music, drum ensembles and devotional singing. This ritual is considered highly auspicious and draws large crowds who gather to witness and participate in the sacred event.
Apart from the religious ceremonies, the festival is also marked by cultural programs, classical music and traditional dance performances that reflect Kerala’s rich heritage. Devotees often engage in offering special prayers, donating for the temple and participating in community feasts known as Annadanam which feed hundreds of devotees.
