Thiru Ulsavam

These include the Thrikkodiyettu, the ceremonial flag hoisting marking the commencement of the festival, along with the Bhagavatha Sapthaha Yajnyam, a week-long recitation of sacred scriptures dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The festivities culminate with the Thiru Arattu, a grand procession where the deity is ceremonially bathed, symbolizing purification and divine blessings for all devotees.
Santhana Gopala Vratham
The Santhana Gopala Vratham observed at the Sree Vaikunteswara Santhana Gopalamurthy Temple in Puzhavath includes sacred rituals such as the Santhana Gopala Homam and Unniyoottu. During the vratham, devotees perform the Santhana Gopala Homam, a fire ritual dedicated to Lord Krishna as the bestower of progeny and protection for children.
