Meena Bharani Maholsavam
Meena Bharani Maholsavam unfolds over three vibrant days each March-April, overflowing with devotion and cultural richness. On the opening day, Pongala is offered in fragrant earthen pots outside the temple, followed by Thalapoli, a traditional procession of women lifting ornate brass lamps and ritual trays. Throughout the festival, the deity receives Abhishekam (ritual anointing) and multiple special poojas, drawing throngs of devotees seeking blessings and divine grace.
Navaratri
Navaratri at the temple is celebrated with deep devotion over nine days, honoring the divine feminine in various forms. The festivities include Pooja Veyppu (initiation of worship), Devi Mahatmya Parayanam, Saraswathi Pooja, Vahana Pooja, and culminate in Vidyarambham, where young children are initiated into learning.
