Uthram Thiru Ulsavam
The Uthram Thiru Ulsavam at Kunnonny Sree Dharma Sastha Temple is a grand annual festival celebrated in the Malayalam month of Makaram (January-February). The festival features elaborate rituals and vibrant cultural programs, drawing devotees from far and wide. Highlights of the festival include special poojas, traditional music and dance performances, and a grand procession, all culminating in the Uthram star day celebrations.
Padipooja
During the Makaravilakku festival in January, the Kunnonny Sree Dharma Sastha Temple conducts a special Padipooja, which is a ritualistic offering made on the temple steps. Devotees participate in large numbers, lighting lamps and offering prayers to seek the blessings of Lord Ayyappa, creating a spiritually charged and visually captivating atmosphere.
