The Temple has a number of festivals. The important ones are :

Annual Festival

The annual festival at the Keezhoor Bhagavathy Temple is observed from Medam 15 to Medam 20 according to the Malayalam calendar. The festivities commence with Kodiyettam, a ceremonial flag hoisting, marking the beginning of the festival. Over the course of the festival, various rituals, prayers, processions, and cultural events are conducted to honor Goddess Bhadrakali. The festival culminates with Arattu.

Pana Ritual

During the Pana ritual at the Keezhoor Bhagavathy Temple, observed from Pathamudayam (April 23) to April 26, various sacred ceremonies take place. These include Thalappoli, a ceremonial procession where women carry traditional lamps, and Kumbha Kudam, the carrying of ceremonial pots. Additionally, the Pana ritual involves the observance of Ariyettupana, Cheriyapana, and Valiayapana on three consecutive days, representing different aspects of devotion and offerings to the deity. These rituals are deeply symbolic and hold significance in the religious practices of the temple, attracting devotees seeking blessings and spiritual fulfillment.
