This ancient temple, steeped in tradition, features a chathura sreekovil dedicated to the main deity, Bhagavathi. Additionally, the temple complex includes upadevata temples, nalambalam, and namaskara mandapam.
Each year, the temple's annual festival coincides with Meena Bharani day in the Meena Masam month, falling between March and April. This highly anticipated event attracts devotees from near and far, who gather to seek the blessings of the Goddess and partake in the vibrant festivities.

Muppathamkala Maholsavam
The Muppathamkala Maholsavam, celebrated during the month of Dhanu, is a grand festival featuring various rituals and ceremonies at the temple. The festivities include Kalamezhuthum, Pattum, Thalapoli, Pushpaabhishekam , Sreebali, and more. This auspicious occasion draws devotees from far and wide to participate in the vibrant celebrations and seek the blessings of the deity.
Kumbhakudam
Kumbhakudam, a traditional feature of festivals, involves a meticulous process beginning with fixing a palm tree pole into a pot. Handmade paper flowers known as chendu are then meticulously arranged in circular structures, creating a towering pagoda-like structure. During processions, devotees adorned in yellow costumes perform rhythmic dances while balancing the elaborate kumbhakudam on their heads, accompanied by the captivating beats of chenda and pandi melam drums.
