Neeranjanam
Neeranjanam holds immense significance as an offering to Lord Sani. It involves placing sachets of thil (Sesame Seeds / Ellu) and raw rice (excluding parboiled) dipped in ghee inside a coconut. This sacred offering symbolizes reverence and seeks the benevolent blessings of Lord Sani, believed to alleviate the malefic influence of Saturn.
