The Thudayannoor Shivaratri Festival 2026 is a vibrant and spiritually significant celebration held at the Sree Arathakanthappan Temple in Kollam, Kerala. This festival observed annually is dedicated to Lord Shiva and marks a period of intense devotion, rituals and cultural festivities. Key rituals performed include the Ganapathi Homam, Usha Pooja, Kalash Pooja, Kalasha Abhishekam and the Bhagavata Parayanam which are believed to purify the mind and soul of the participants. Special poojas such as Mahaganapathi Homam and Mahamrityunjaya Homam are conducted invoking divine protection and well being.

Cultural programs form an integral part of the festival.
