Thrikkodiyettu Mahotsavam 2026 at Veettinal Devi Temple in Kollam is one of the most anticipated cultural and religious festivals in the region drawing devotees and visitors from across Kerala. During the festival, devotees participate in Thalappoli, a traditional procession of women carrying plates adorned with lamps and offerings accompanied by Gajaveerans symbolic elephant warriors creating a mesmerizing visual spectacle.
Throughout the festival, the temple comes alive with numerous cultural programs including Nadakam, Nrithanadakam, Thiruvathira, Kuthi Yotta, folk music and devotional singing.
