Vinayaka Chathurthi

At Vellooppara Sri Maha Ganapathi Temple, Vinayaka Chathurthi is celebrated with great fervor. The festival includes Ganapathi Homam, a ritualistic fire offering dedicated to Lord Ganesha, performed to invoke his blessings for prosperity and removal of obstacles. Special poojas and the lighting of lamps (vilakku) are also conducted, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere for the devotees.
