This festival features various rituals and events, including Ganapathi Homam, vibrant processions (ghoshayatra), and the noble act of annadanam (food distribution). Pongala Festival
During the Pongala festival at Thiru Nettarakkavu Sree Bhadrakali Temple in Mevanakkonam, Kalluvathukkal, devotees gather to prepare a sacred offering of Pongala, a sweet dish made of rice, jaggery, coconut, and other ingredients, in earthen pots.
