Navaratri Maholsavam
During Navaratri Maholsavam at Sree Chittilakkattu Devi Temple in Mukathala, Kollam, special rituals and ceremonies are conducted with great devotion. Abhishekam, a ritual bathing of the deities with sacred substances, is performed daily to honor Goddess Bhadra and Bhagavathy, invoking their blessings for purification and prosperity. On the final day of Navaratri, Vidyarambham is held, marking the auspicious beginning of learning for young children, with many families participating to seek the goddess's blessings for their children's educational journey.
Vinayaka Chathurthi
