The primary deity worshipped here is Balamuruga, with other deities including Ganapathy and Ayyappa.

One of the temple's unique offerings is known as Mooda, which is specifically performed to address issues related to childbirth and pregnancy. This ritual involves placing a mixture of banana, salt, jaggery, and ariyunda inside a leaf. The leaf is then shaped into a ball and wrapped with a banana leaf before being offered to Balamuruga.
