The Temple has a number of festivals. The important ones are :
Navaratri Maholsavam
During the Navaratri Maholsavam at Maruthamonpally Mahavishnu Devi Temple, the festival is marked by a series of sacred rituals. Devi Bhagavatha Navaha Yajnyam is performed, involving nine days of recitation and worship dedicated to the Divine Mother. Other key rituals include Lalitha Sahasranama Parayanam, Saraswathy Pooja, Vidya Gopala Mantra Archana, and Sarva Aiswarya Pooja, each enhancing spiritual growth and seeking divine blessings for wisdom and prosperity.
Thiruvona Maholsavam
During the Thiruvona Maholsavam at Maruthamonpally Mahavishnu Devi Temple in February, the festival features a significant ritual known as Paalpayasa Pongala. Devotees prepare and offer Paalpayasa, a sweet rice pudding made with milk and sugar, to Lord Vishnu as an act of devotion and gratitude. This offering is accompanied by various poojas and prayers, creating a festive and spiritually uplifting atmosphere at the temple.
