Sivaratri Arattu Maholsavam
Sivaratri Arattu Maholsavam commences with special abhishekam accompanied by melodious chants and music, followed by Niramala (garlanding the deity) and a grand deeparchana that illuminates the temple precincts in divine glow. The highlight is the grand Arattu (holy bath ceremony) taken in the temple tank amidst orchestrated chendamelam and ghoshayatra (festive procession), creating an atmosphere of spiritual fervour and community celebration.
Dhanu Thiruvathira
Dhanu Thiruvathira is a vibrant Festival celebrated in the Malayalam month of Dhanu (December-January). It features special rituals such as Ganapathy Homam, Mrityunjaya Homam, Thiruvathirakali, Pushpabhishekam, Deeparadhana, bringing devotees together in joyous reverence and cultural harmony.
