The Temple has a number of festivals. The important ones are :
Kodai Mahotsavam
This is the most significant festival celebrated at Sri Kochu Mandaikadu Temple. It is a multi day annual temple festival held in the Malayalam month of Kumbham which usually falls in February–March. The highlight of the celebration is the Kodai ritual marking the start of the festival and inviting divine blessings to all devotees.
Navaratri Utsavam
Navaratri is a nine‑night festival of the Goddess widely revered in Hindu culture. At Sri Kochu Mandaikadu Temple, Navaratri is observed with focused poojas dedicated to Goddess Bhadra Devi and Durga Devi.
Meena Rohini Ulsavam
This festival falls on the Rohini star day in the Malayalam month of Meenam (around March–April). On this day, devotees make pongala a sacred sweet offering made of rice and jaggery to the Goddess as a sign of devotion and gratitude.
