12 Vilakku Utsavam
During the 12-day bhajan, devotees sing devotional songs, while another revered offering involves constructing a hut in front of Kattilamma Temple for night-long bhajanam. The 12 Vilakku Utsavam, a major festival, draws large crowds, and special pujas and rituals are observed on Fridays at the temple, which remains open all week. Each year during the festivities, the flag is ceremoniously brought from Champakkulam.
