Asramam Sree Krishna Swamy Temple is a revered Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Krishna, worshipped here in the form of Navaneet Krishnan or Krishna with Butter.
In addition to the main deity, the temple complex also houses sub-deities including Swamy Ayyappan, who is worshipped in a separate shrine featuring the iconic 18 holy steps of Sabarimala, as well as Naga Devatas and Navagrahas.

Mandala Chirappu Maholsavam
The Mandala Chirappu Maholsavam at the Asramam Sree Krishna Swamy Temple in Kollam is a significant annual festival celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm during the Mandala Kalam period, which spans 41 days. This festival includes a series of special poojas and rituals dedicated to Lord Krishna, along with vibrant cultural events and devotional music performances that enhance the spiritual atmosphere. The temple premises are adorned with decorations, and the festival culminates in a grand procession, drawing large numbers of devotees who come to seek the blessings of Lord Krishna and participate in the festive celebrations.
