Prathishta Dina Mahotsavam 2026 at Chavassery Sri Shiva Vishnu Temple, Kannur is one of the most significant and eagerly awaited temple festivals in the region. The first day begins with special poojas accompanied by Shinkari Melam, a traditional percussion ensemble creating an atmosphere of devotion and celebration. Processions such as Kalavara starting from Paleri Sri Mahaganapathi Temple highlight the grandeur of the festival and attract large crowds.
