ആരാധന മഹോത്സവം പയ്യന്നൂരിലെ സുബ്രഹ്മണ്യ സ്വാമി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ ഒരു വാർഷിക ഉത്സവമാണിത്, പയ്യന്നൂർ എന്നിവ സമീപ പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലെ ഉത്സവ സീസണിന് തുടക്കം കുറിക്കുന്നു. 14 ദിവസങ്ങളോളം നീണ്ടുനിൽക്കുന്ന ഈ ഉത്സവം മലയാള മാസമായ വൃശ്ചികത്തിലെ ഒന്നാം തീയതി ആരംഭിക്കുന്നു.

The festival is a grand occasion marked by various rituals and activities celebrated to pay obeisance to Lord Subrahmanya, the presiding deity of the temple. The temple is one of the three most important 'Maha Subrahmanya' temples in South India.Lord Parashurama, Lord Vinayaka, Lord Ayyappa, Sree Bhoothanar and Sree Kanya Bhagavathy (the virgin Goddess Parvathy) are the sub-deities in the temple. The main ceremony of this festival is the 'Thidampu Ezhunnellathu or the procession of the deity. The procession is accompanied by the traditional musical instruments and other sacred rituals. A number of cultural events are staged during the festival.Ganamala, Kadhaprasangam. Aksharas/okam, Thayambaka, dance performances etc. are some of the programs. A large number of devotees visit the temple during this time to enjoy the cultural events and also offer prayers for well-being and prosperity to the lord.
