Vinayaka Chaturthi

Vinayaka Chaturthi, special poojas and rituals are conducted at the Sree Kakkamkovil Shiva Temple in Kannur, including the performance of Ganapathi Homam using 1008 coconuts. Devotees offer prayers and perform abhishekam (ritual bathing) to the idol of Lord Ganesha, seeking his blessings for prosperity, success, and the removal of obstacles. Pradosha Vrutham

Devotees observe Pradosha Vrutham, a vow of fasting and prayers, seeking the blessings of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
