Makara Pongala
Makara Pongala is celebrated on the auspicious day of Makara Sankranthi for the worship of the goddess. Bhagavata Sapthaha Yajnyam
Bhagavata Sapthaha Yajnyam is a sacred ritual conducted at the Poovathur Sri Mahavishnu Temple in Koodali, Kannur. This ritual spans seven days and involves the recitation of the sacred text, Srimad Bhagavatam, by learned scholars and priests. Devotees participate in the yajna with reverence, seeking spiritual enlightenment, divine blessings, and purification of mind and soul.
