Puthari Thiruvappana Festival
The Puthari Thiruvappana festival, held on the 16th of Vrichikam, marks the first Thiruvappana of the temple year at Parappuram Kandi Madappura Sree Muthappan Temple and is associated with the region's harvest season. The festival celebrates the start of the agricultural cycle and the abundance it brings. The last Thiruvappana of the temple year is observed annually on the 30th of Kanni.
Karkkidaka Payamkutti
Karkkidaka Payamkutti at Parappuram Kandi Madappura Sree Muthappan Temple is a ritual observed from Karkkidaka Sankramam to Chingam Sankramam, aimed at fulfilling devotees' wishes. The ritual begins with Ganapathi Homam performed in the morning, followed by Muthappan Vellattam, a traditional dance offering dedicated to Muthappan, symbolizing gratitude and devotion.
