One of the major festivals celebrated at the temple is the annual Theyyam-Kaliyattam-Thira festival, which spans four days during the Malayalam month of Meda. During this festival, various Theyyam performances take place, including Bali Theyyam, Vadakkathy Bhagavathy Theyyam, Vishnumoorthi Theyyam, Thottinkara Bhagavathy Theyyam, Thekkan Gulikan, Dharma Daivam, Madayil Chamundi Theyyam, Thaiparadevatha Theyyam, and Dhooliyanga Bhagavathy Theyyam.

The temple's architecture includes a main small chathura sreekovil (square sanctum sanctorum), along with other small square platforms and sreekovils for worshipping other deities. These architectural elements contribute to the spiritual and cultural significance of the temple, making it a revered place of worship in the region.

Thrikkarthika
During Thrikkarthika, devotees typically light rows of oil lamps (known as Karthika Vilakku) in and around their homes and temples to symbolize the triumph of light over darkness and to seek blessings for health, prosperity, and happiness.
