Maholsavam
The Maholsavam at Chalode Govindamvayal Sree Mahavishnu Temple is held in November or December, starting with the ceremonial Kodiyettam. The festival includes the Pallivetta, a symbolic royal hunt, followed by the grand Aarattu, the ritualistic holy bath of the deity. The celebrations are accompanied by Thayampaka, a traditional percussion performance, adding to the festive fervor and devotion.
