Thrikkarthika
Thrikkarthika, also known as Karthika Deepam, is a significant festival celebrated by Hindus, particularly in South India. It falls on the day of the Kartika Nakshatra (star) in the Malayalam month of Vrishchikam (corresponding to November-December in the Gregorian calendar). During Thrikkarthika, devotees light traditional oil lamps (known as "Karthika Vilakku") in and around their homes and temples to honor Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati, and Lord Kartikeya.
Maha Shivaratri
