Thalapoli Maholsavam
Thalapoli Maholsavam at Thalippara Bhagavathy Temple in Alattuchira, Kodanad, Ernakulam district, various rituals and festivities are observed with great devotion and enthusiasm. The highlights include the Kodimara Ghoshayatra, where devotees carry the temple flag in a ceremonial procession, Thrikkodiyettu, the ritual lighting of lamps around the temple premises, and the Ayilya Pooja, dedicated to propitiating the deity during the Ayilyam star. Additionally, devotees participate in Pongala, a sacred offering of sweet rice cooked in earthen pots, and the Arattu ceremony, where the deity is ceremonially bathed, followed by Guruthi, a special ritual invoking divine blessings.
Prathishta Vaarshikam
