The ninth day of the festival is particularly auspicious, featuring a spectacular afternoon procession with nine majestic elephants adorned in glittering ornaments and colorful parasols parading in the temple compound. The vibrant Panchavadyam music adds to the fervor and excitement of the occasion. Throughout the festival, traditional performances such as Kathakali, Ottanthullal, Chakyarkoothu, and Kurathiyattom are held, showcasing Kerala's rich cultural heritage and enhancing the festive spirit.
Bhagavatha Sapthaha Yajnyam
The Peruvaram Mahadeva Temple hosts the Bhagavatha Sapthaha Yajnyam as a significant spiritual event.
