Kalamezhuthum Pattum
Kalamezhuthum Pattum is a devotional ritual where artists create intricate, colorful drawings often of deities on the temple floor using natural powdered pigments (Kalamezhuthu). The ritual is accompanied by the singing of special, traditional songs (Pattu), as priests and performers perform sacred prayers and ceremonies around the artwork, invoking divine presence and blessings.
