Thiru Ulsavam
Thiru Ulsavam at Muvattupuzhakkavu Bhagavathi Temple is celebrated grandly in the Malayalam month of Meenam, especially on the day of Bharani star, which is considered highly auspicious for Goddess Bhadrakali. The festival begins with the Thrikkodiyettu. Rituals such as Ulsava Bali, Ezhunnallathu, Thalappoli, and Deeparadhana are conducted with devotion and grandeur, culminating in the Arattu of the deity.
Vrischika Vilakku
Vrischika Vilakku festival is observed with great devotion in the Malayalam month of Vrischikam. The celebrations include the lighting of traditional vilakkus, Kalamezhuthu, and Kalam Pattu. Devotees also take part in Deeparadhana and the surrounding of the temple with Chuttu Vilakku, creating a divine and vibrant atmosphere.
