The main deity worshipped at the temple is Bala Krishna, believed to protect small children from evil birds. Children are brought to receive blessings even before their Choroonu. They undergo a bath in the temple's holy water, are left to dry naturally without wiping, and then brought inside for Darshan.

The temple also worships several sub-deities including Ayyappan, Anthimahakalan, Ayayakshi, Shiva, Parvati, and Nagas, each contributing to the spiritual ambiance and significance of the temple.
