The main deity of the temple is Lord Ayyappa, worshipped as Sree Sastha. Lord Ayyappa is considered to be the son of Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu in the form of Mohini., Lord Ayyappa is worshipped with an Amrita Kalasha in one hand.
