Thiruvathira Maholsavam
Thiruvathira Maholsavam is celebrated during the Dhanu month at the temple with great devotion and cultural significance. The festivities include special rituals such as Rudra Abhishekam and Rudra Japam dedicated to Lord Shiva, invoking blessings for peace and prosperity. Traditional performances like Thiruvathirakali (a graceful dance by women) and other cultural programs add to the spiritual and festive atmosphere of the celebration.
Prathishta Dinam
Prathishta Dinam, marking the consecration anniversary of the temple, is observed in the Malayalam month of Edavam with great devotion. The celebrations include Rudraabhishekam, Niramala, Deeparadhana, Vilakku Ezhunnallathu, and Sheeveli (ritual procession of the deity within the temple premises). These rituals symbolize spiritual renewal and invoke divine blessings for devotees.
