Mahashivaratri Maholsavam
Mahashivaratri Maholsavam at Sree Kandoth Vallivattam Shiva Temple is celebrated as a grand 4-day festival with deep devotion and rituals. Each day is marked by special poojas, deeparadhana (lamp worship), and various abhishekam offerings to Lord Shiva.On the night of Mahashivaratri, the temple hosts the Sivaratri Pooja, where devotees engage in night-long prayers, chanting, and offerings, seeking the divine blessings of Lord Shiva for prosperity, protection, and spiritual growth.
Thrikkarthika
Thrikkarthika is celebrated with the lighting of traditional oil lamps (vilakku) in and around the temple, creating a divine and serene atmosphere. Special poojas and rituals are performed in honor of the goddess, symbolizing the victory of light over darkness.
