The festival is a grand celebration of devotion, tradition and community drawing devotees from across the region to partake in its sacred rituals and cultural programs. Thiru Eruthikkavu Temple Festival at 2026 The festivities begin with the Prathishta Varshikam and Pongala on January 29, 2026 marking the anniversary of the temple’s consecration and the offering of Pongala a ritual where devotees prepare special rice offerings to please the Goddess. Following this, the Paraykk Ezunnellippu festival from February 2 to 10, 2026 features a series of morning and evening rituals, including Nirmalya Darshanam, Abhishekam, Ganapathi Homam, Usha Pooja and special cultural offerings. Each day the temple opens early welcoming devotees to witness the sacred ceremonies, while the community participates in processions and devotional music performances that add a festive charm to the spiritual proceedings.

The grand culmination of the festival is the Uchara Mahotsavam on February 11, 2026 celebrated with elaborate rituals, musical ensembles, devotional recitals, and cultural programs.
