This annual festival is a revered occasion that brings together devotees from across the region to engage in devotional activities, prayers and rituals dedicated to the Divine Mother. The event is organized by the Temple Youth Committee which has been instrumental in maintaining the sanctity and smooth conduct of the festival over the years. Srimad Bhagavatha Parayana Navahayajnam 2026  at Valiyakulangara Devi Temple During the nine day Navaha Yajnam, the sacred recitation of the Srimad Bhagavatham takes center stage accompanied by elaborate homams and rituals performed by accomplished priests and yajnacaryans. Devotees have the opportunity to participate in daily poojas, special offerings, and Annadanam which are considered highly meritorious acts in Hindu tradition. The yajñam aims to foster spiritual upliftment, moral reflection and collective devotion creating an atmosphere of peace, harmony and sacred energy within the temple premises.

The festival also features musical accompaniments such as traditional bhajans, instrumental recitals and devotional chanting enhancing the spiritual ambience and connecting the devotees more deeply with the divine narratives of the Bhagavata.
