The temple dedicated to the divine Goddess Palliyarakavu comes alive with a series of poojas, abhishekams and special worship ceremonies. Devotees partake in various offerings such as Sreebali, Utsavabali and Deeparadhana, all of which are performed with meticulous adherence to ritualistic traditions. The spiritual atmosphere is amplified by the melodious sounds of the Nadaswaram, the rhythmic beats of the Thavil and devotional singing that fills the temple precincts with divine energy.
A distinctive feature of the festival is the vibrant cultural programs held in the evenings.
