The Thrippuliyoor Mahavishnu Temple, revered as Bheemasena Tirupathi and one of the prominent Pancha Pandava temples in Kerala hosts its grand annual Kavadi Mahotsavam a festival deeply rooted in centuries old traditions and rituals. The festival spans several days, beginning with the Thirukodiyettu which marks the formal commencement of the celebrations. During this period, devotees engage in various devotional practices, including recitations of the Narayaneeyam and participation in special poojas all conducted under the guidance of the temple’s chief priest, Thantri Brahmasree Agnisharman Vasudevan Bhattathiripad.
