Parayeduppu Mahotsavam at Paatumkalam Sree Karthyayani Devi Temple, Alappuzha is one of the most vibrant and culturally rich celebrations in Kerala attracting devotees and visitors from across the region.

One of the central features of the Mahotsavam is the Parayeduppu, a ritual procession where the idol of the goddess is taken around the temple and local community in a ceremonial manner accompanied by the rhythmic sounds of traditional instruments and folk music.
