Velorvattom Sri Mahadeva Temple Alappuzha

The Velorvattom Sri Mahadeva Temple, located in Cherthala, Alappuzha, Kerala, is dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Velorvattom Sri Mahadeva Temple is believed to have been constructed in the 7th century by Azhvanchery Thamprakkal.According to legend, the installation of the idol of Lord Shiva was performed by sage Parasurama himself.
