Vettikulangara Pooram
Vettikulangara Pooram is the main festival celebrated at the temple and is one of the most significant Pooram festivals in Kerala. It typically falls in the Malayalam month of Medam (April-May). The festival is known for its grandeur and vibrant celebrations, including processions of beautifully adorned elephants, traditional music performances such as Thayambaka and Panchavadyam, cultural programs, and spectacular fireworks displays.
Kuthiras
Kuthiras have a height of about 70 to 105 feet, and are a union of four parts– Adikkoottu, Kathirakal, Edakkodaram, Prabhada and Melkkoodaram, one above the other respectively.
